Selina Hutter ist BSc Business Psychology Studierende im 5. Semester und absolviert derzeit ein Auslandssemester in Hongkong. In dieser Beitragsreihe nimmt sie uns mit auf ihre Reise und berichtet von ihren Erfahrungen und Erlebnissen. In ihrem ersten Beitrag erz\u00e4hlt sie uns von ihrem Ankommen und ihren ersten Eindr\u00fccken von der Stadt und des Studierendenlebens. Seien Sie gespannt auf mehr! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die ersten Wochen in Hongkong <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hongkong – eine Stadt, die alles hat. Natur, Str\u00e4nde, Hochh\u00e4user, Einkaufszentren, Streetfood, edle Restaurants, Bars, Clubs, Inseln und vieles mehr. Die ersten paar Tage waren besonders aufregend. Nach einer zweiw\u00f6chigen Quarant\u00e4ne in einem Hotel inmitten der Grossstadt, konnte ich diese dann endlich erkundigen. Als Erstes steuerte ich die Schule an. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Lingnan University ist riesig und mit zahlreichen Pflanzen, B\u00e4umen und Teichen mit Schildkr\u00f6ten und Fr\u00f6schen gestaltet. Die meisten Studierenden leben auf dem Campus. Was gut ist, da man so schnell in Kontakt kommt. Auf dem Campus befindet sich eine Mensa, eine Bibliothek, ein Olympia-grosses Schwimmbecken und eine Sporthalle. Ein wenig ausserhalb der Schule befindet sich ein Fussballfeld und eine Finnenbahn. Die Studierenden leben verteilt auf dem Campus in einem der acht Hostels. Das Zimmer ist klein, hat aber alles was man braucht: Bett, Tisch, Stuhl und einen Schrank. Auf jedem Stock befinden sich ein gemeinsames Bad und eine kleine K\u00fcche.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Die Kurse kann man in Absprache mit der HSLU selbst w\u00e4hlen. In den meisten Kursen bin ich die einzige Austauschstudentin. Es ist interessant zu sehen, wie sich die «Locals» in der Schule verhalten. W\u00e4hrend der Klassen wird nicht miteinander geredet und in den Pausen oder teilweise auch w\u00e4hrend dem Kurs geschlafen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am Wochenende und auch nach der Schule bleibt gen\u00fcgend Zeit, um die Stadt zu erkundigen. Lingnan befindet sich auf der westlichen Seite von Hongkong in einem eher l\u00e4ndlichen Gebiet namens Tuen Mun<\/em>. Das hat zum Vorteil, dass hier vieles g\u00fcnstiger und asiatischer ist, als im Stadtteil Central oder Kowloon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auch das Wandern kommt nicht zu kurz, denn daf\u00fcr gibt es hier in Hongkong zahlreiche M\u00f6glichkeiten. Obwohl es sehr heiss ist, lohnt es sich jedes Mal die H\u00fcgel zu bezwingen und die sch\u00f6ne Aussicht zu geniessen. Auch kulturell hat die Stadt einiges zu bieten. Ein Tempel liegt f\u00fcnf Gehminuten von der Schule und eignet sich super f\u00fcr einen Spaziergang.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Fazit, hier in Hongkong gibt es immer was Neues zu entdecken und ich bin gespannt, was es als n\u00e4chstes sein wird!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
