Vor einiger Zeit haben wir Georgina Ebrahimi, Business Psychology Studentin im 6. Semester, \u00fcber ihre Eindr\u00fccke im Auslandssemester in Japan interviewt. Das Interview wurde im vergangenen Semester gef\u00fchrt \u2013 die Erfahrungen und Tipps, die Georgina teilt, bieten aber weiterhin spannende und hilfreiche Einblicke f\u00fcr alle, die selbst ein Auslandssemester planen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#495967\"><strong>Hallo Georgina! Du befindest dich aktuell im Auslandssemester. Kannst du bitte eingangs erz\u00e4hlen, wann es begonnen hat, wo genau du dich gerade befindest und bis wann du dableibst?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Georgina<\/em><\/strong>: Ich habe mein Austauschsemester Anfang Oktober 2024 in Beppu, Japan begonnen. Momentan stehe ich mitten in den Quartalspr\u00fcfungen. Geplant ist, hier ein Semester hier zu verbringen, also bis Mitte Februar 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#495967\"><strong>Warum hast du dich f\u00fcr ein Auslandssemester entschieden?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Georgina<\/em><\/strong>: Anfangs hatte ich eigentlich gar kein Auslandssemester geplant, weil ich nicht dachte, dass es f\u00fcr meinen Studiengang Business Psychologie m\u00f6glich w\u00e4re. Doch mein generelles Interesse, im Ausland zu leben, hat mich dazu gebracht, die Infoveranstaltung zu besuchen \u2013 und dort habe ich festgestellt, dass die Chancen f\u00fcr BP doch h\u00f6her waren als erwartet, auch wenn sie f\u00fcr BP begrenzt waren. Ich wollte diese einmalige Gelegenheit nutzen, um mich selbst weiterzuentwickeln, eine neue Kultur und Sprache kennenzulernen und meine Komfortzone zu verlassen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#495967\"><strong>Warum hast du dich f\u00fcr die APU Ritsumeikan in Japan  entschieden?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Georgina<\/em><\/strong>: Ich wollte unbedingt in ein Land, dass ich noch nicht kannte, als auch eine neue Sprache zu lernen. Gleichzeitig wollte ich schon immer mal nach Japan gehen, es ist schon seit 10 Jahren das Nr. 1 Land auf meiner Reiseliste. Da APU Ritsumeikan in Beppu, Japan seit diesem Jahr zur Partnerliste von BP aufgenommen wurde, war die Wahl f\u00fcr mich klar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#495967\"><strong>Wie war dein erster Eindruck nach der Ankunft? Gab es irgendwelche Herausforderungen?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Georgina<\/strong>:<\/em> Beppu ist eine K\u00fcstenstadt in S\u00fcden Japans und befindet sich in der Pr\u00e4fektur Kyushu. Die Ankunft in Beppu, sowie die erste Woche waren ehrlichgesagt sehr \u00fcberfordernd. Ich brauchte definitiv etwas Zeit mich an das Leben hier zu gew\u00f6hnen, einerseits wegen der Sprachbarriere und andererseits wegen den vielen kleinen Kulturschocks (wie man sich im \u00d6V verhaltet, wie oft man sich f\u00fcr Sachen bedankt und entschuldigt, etc.). Es ist jedoch alles unglaublich effizient und man findet f\u00fcr alles immer schnell eine L\u00f6sung, was sehr hilfreich ist.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#495967\"><strong>Wie sieht aktuell ein typischer Unialltag bei dir aus? Wie unterscheidet sich das Studierendenleben zu dem in Luzern?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Georgina<\/strong><\/em>: Der Gr\u00f6sste Unterschied ist, dass der Campus der APU auf einem H\u00fcgel liegt, was bedeutet, dass die meisten Studierenden jeden Morgen eine 40-min\u00fctige Busfahrt bergauf machen m\u00fcssen. Das Studentenleben an der HSLU ist eher zentral und umgeben von vielen Essenm\u00f6glichkeiten, L\u00e4den und Transportm\u00f6glichkeiten, w\u00e4hrend das Campusleben an der APU viel mehr Angebote direkt auf dem Campus anbietet, welches jedoch limitiert ist. Um den Campus herum gibt es nicht viel zu tun, da es sich auf einem H\u00fcgel befindet. Ich w\u00fcrde jedoch nicht sagen, dass das eine besser als das andere ist. Der Unialltag bei beiden Universit\u00e4ten haben seine sch\u00f6nen Seiten und ich geniesse mein Studentenleben an der HSLU genauso wie an der APU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#495967\"><strong>Wie verbringst du dort deine Freizeit?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Georgina<\/strong><\/em>: <em>Da ich freitags keine Module habe, nutze ich fast jedes Wochenende, um Japan zu erkunden. Ich habe schon Ausfl\u00fcge nach Fukuoka, Kyoto, Tokyo oder auch n\u00e4here und kleinere Orte wie Oita und Yufuin gemacht. Ansonsten treffe ich mich mit anderen Austauschstudenten und unternimm was mit ihnen in Beppu (wie zusammen Sport machen, was trinken gehen im lokalen Izakaya, am Strand spazieren gehen, zusammen kochen oder neue japanische Gerichte ausprobieren)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#495967\"><strong>Worauf freust du dich noch in den n\u00e4chsten Wochen?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Georgina<\/strong><\/em>: Ich freue mich sehr darauf, dass meine Familie mich f\u00fcr zwei Wochen besucht. Wir haben Wochenendtrips nach Tokyo und Kyoto geplant. Ich freue mich auch ihnen meine Leben hier in Beppu, sowie den APU Campus zu zeigen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#495967\"><strong>Vielen Dank f\u00fcr das Interview!
