Beyond Sight

An inclusive design concept for Blind and Visually Impaired (BVI) users in Switzerland to seamlessly identify and access information on packaged food products. This design intervention bridges the gap between packaged products and user interaction with several different methods. The aim is to reduce the time taken by the BVI user to identify the data and create a guideline that helps brands incorporate inclusive methods into their processes. BVI users can choose from analog and digital experiences to access information. To build a compelling user experience, my responsibility as a service designer was to think-partner, facilitate, comprehend, and support the user’s requirements.
