The thesis Let’s Talk About It – The Menstrual Cycle explores the communication and educational barriers surrounding the menstrual cycle. It reveals how societal challenges and taboos faced by menstruating individuals when discussing and learning about their menstrual health result in a significant lack of knowledge, understanding, and empathy. To address this, the thesis proposes an educational card game designed to enhance knowledge and foster positive attitudes toward the menstrual cycle among all genders. This game aims to encourage open discussions, reduce stigmas, and increase awareness, thereby promoting a more supportive and informed societal perspective on menstrual-related topics. The thesis underscores the need for comprehensive menstrual education to challenge societal and patriarchal structures and promote gender equality.
