Over 10 million tonnes of furniture in Europe are thrown away annually, and only 10% is recycled. This material can become a secondary resource in a circular economy. It is crucial to design products that extend the life cycle of these materials and network local partners and supply chains.
A modular product concept turns waste resources into flexible, playful furniture items. The project aims to promote upcycling of fast furniture and encourage industry players to adopt the Looped philosophy.
