Korvai is an ancient Tamil word meaning synchronous and rhythmic patterns. Silk sarees from Kanchipuram a small town in the southern part of India holds a special place in the traditional textiles of the country and loved by people around the world.

In this project a digital platform was designed with innovative features capturing the mental models of the consumers in today’s world to bring a social transformation and implement sustainable values for the diminishing weaving communities of Kanchipuram.

The core values are based on cultural preservation, craftspeople celebration, price transparency, and direct to customers. The ultimate goal is to create a ripple effect on the society with project KORVAI at the core.
