Is hybrid work built for human needs, or just physical logistics?
While often seen as a question of location and coordination, hybrid work is layered, shaped by physical, digital, social, and temporal dynamics. Organizational culture acts as the glue between these layers, enabling hybrid environments to thrive. Yet, already existing cultural issues in bureaucratic settings are often amplified in hybrid settings, like lack of trust, purpose, and motivation. This makes addressing culture just as critical as setting up tools or spaces when transitioning to hybrid work. As a response, I developed a flexible, card-based tool designed to spark reflection on key cultural themes. It supports individuals and teams in making space for dialogue and initiating small but meaningful shifts in how they work together.
This project invites us to rethink hybrid work, not just as a logistical setup, but as a complex system shaped by culture.
