If AI is transforming how work begins, develops and is valued, how do we design new ways in?

Entry into the labor market is changing faster than the systems around it can adapt. As AI transforms tasks, roles and expectations, early-career professionals risk losing access to the experiences through which they learn, contribute and grow. This thesis investigates how meaningful entry-level pathways can be created in an AI-driven labor market, with a focus on the Swiss technology sector. It reframes the issue as a coordination challenge between organizations, education and early-career professionals. The design response, the Wave Ecosystem, creates conditions for real-world experience, capability-building and mutual value across the system.
