The dolls that children own reflect the time they live in, and often also the ideas prominent in that specific time period. In this illustrated children’s book I take a careful look at the way dolls change with the times, and try to find out why they changed in such a way.

I explore these topics through handwritten text accompanied by colorful watercolor illustrations and playful squirrels which jump around the page.
