Eva is an experimental short film that brings together the personal stories of six women and explores the concept of ‘motherhood’. Three women talk about their decision-making processes, their desires, and their inner conflicts, while three actresses re-enact and continue these dialogues in a stylised film set. The boundaries between documentary film and staging are blurred, re-enactments and personal commentaries create a dense and cluster-like narrative. As a mother of two children herself, the filmmaker focuses on honest and personal dialogue and seeks an exchange with people from her environment.
