Through my graduation project, I’m addressing the challenge of how small and medium-sized organizations such as Aventra can adjust to the ever-changing sustainability regulations, materials, and labelling requirements. At Aventra, this is particularly challenging as support from management, time, and employees› decision-making power on sustainability are limited.

Using my analytical skills, I quickly identified the root causes of this complex challenge. In addition, by taking a collaborative approach and engaging with those directly affected, I helped Aventra form a path towards its desired future. Among other things, I redesigned Aventra’s annual, company-wide Sustainability Day. Instead of adding new tasks, I created space within an existing format to explore evolving sustainability demands and define concrete actions in collaboration with management. This enables Aventra to respond to external changes and empowers employees to shape the organization’s sustainability journey.
