This thesis looks at how nurses and doctors collaborate during short hospital stays, such as for heart procedures. Using interviews, observations and creative methods, it uncovers hidden hurdles in communication, unclear roles and spatial constraints. To address these, two simple yet effective interventions were developed: a shared handover ritual and a new patient support role. The project highlights how small, thoughtful changes in daily routines can improve teamwork and make hospital care more coordinated, human and safe.
