Mirroring the narrative of the ‘Hero’s Journey’, Minako Bisang analyzes and deconstructs the stories told about lesbian sex, starting with an encounter: an AI-generated lesbian porn clip found on the internet. Bisang explores the interwinings of artificiality, fiction and reality, objectification and trauma and challenge patriarchal male subjectivity and stories told about sex in patriarchy. The story culminates in a literal “death of imagination” by patriarchal capitalist visual culture.
