My bachelor project explores why small consulting companies often find it difficult to act on sustainability, even when they want to. Many of them face challenges like limited time, tight budgets, unclear rules, or simply too much information to know where to start. These hurdles can make sustainability feel like an extra burden rather than a natural part of their work.

To understand this better, I spoke with companies that have already made progress in becoming more sustainable. I wanted to learn what helped them succeed.

The research culminated in the development of a Guide including workshop material. It offers a practical starting point for small consulting firms looking to engage with sustainability. It’s not a one-size-fits-all solution, but a tool to help companies make sense of the topic, identify what matters to them, and take first steps.
