Zoe eröffnet einen Raum, der einer Person gehört, die zunehmend mehr zuhause bleiben muss. Mehr Erholung, mehr Auftanken, mehr Isolation. Mehr Lesen über Disability Justice und mehr crip hangouts. Zoes Erfahrungen werden in mehreren Briefen in einen gesellschaftlichen Kontext gesetzt. In der Ausstellung können sich die Besuchenden im Bett erholen, Zoes Texte lesen, und ableistische Glaubenssätze hinterfragen.Das eigene Zimmer wird zum widerständigen Raum.

Auf Vorhängen und im Raum gibt es Textfragmente. Folgende sind Zitate:

Die Arbeit konnte nur entstehen, weil Zoe gelernt hat, nach Hilfe zu fragen und Leute um sich herum hat, die Zoe geholfen haben. Diese Arbeit wäre nicht entstanden ohne die Hilfe von Annaka, Carmen, Domi, Eileen, Fini, Florin, Gianluca, Lara, Lis, Liv, und Luki.

Zoe opens up a space of a person who has to stay at home more and more. More rest, more recharging, more isolation. More reading about disability justice and more crip hangouts. Zoe’s experiences are contextualized in several letters to their loved ones. In the exhibition, visitors can relax in bed, read Zoe’s texts and question their own ableist beliefs. The bed becomes a place of resistance.
