Lasting is a story-driven game set in a world where an apocalyptic flood has sunken everything but a high-rise. A surviving society has managed to endure inside it. But for how much longer will they last? A storm is brewing on the horizon. You play as a mute teen who can avert the worst. Your only means of communication are words written on scraps of paper. The challenge is obtaining the right words which are found in dialogue and environment, and figuring out how to use them. Our goal with this project was to put a new twist on video game dialogue mechanics.
