We had the chance to talk with her about her current role at KPMG AG and how the MSc IFM prepared her for her career.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your current job at KMPG AG?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Consultant Assurance Technology Group \/ Internal Auditor<\/p>\n<p><strong>Which tasks do you perform in this function?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Consult in external and internal audits as well as risk advisory projects covering ERP system landscapes, IT-supported business processes, analytics and technology innovation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How has the MSc IFM been beneficial for your career path?<br \/>\n<\/strong>The IFM has been an important building block of my higher education, as it enabled me to not only expand my know-how in financial matters, but also see it applied in practice. With the intensive exposure to the business world during the studies, I was able to easily dive into the work that awaited me once I joined KPMG. Time and again I remind myself about the different modules studied, which helps me think out of the box for my career.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What memories come to your mind when thinking of MSc IFM?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Organization, early lectures with a nice cup of coffee, friendly lecturers and professors, multicultural friendships, great trip to Istanbul, social events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your advice to current MSc IFM students concerning career planning and\/or the programme?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Stay open; learn as much as you can from everything as you never know when you\u2019ll have to use that know-how for your work (even if it is not your interest). Use every networking opportunity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>After all, would you recommend the MSc IFM?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Of course, I do.
