Most recently, I completed an EMBA in digital transformation which has enabled me to stay up to date with key developments in technology and the future of cyber security. Additionally, I have also made it a point to build a good diverse network, while exposing myself to different cultures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>In daily business, what are currently the typical questions and greatest challenges for companies you deal with?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In my daily work, I primarily serve as the liaison between the Business, IT and Corporate Security, while also engaging with external partners. Over the years, I have observed that information security is becoming more of a priority which is a good thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The financial services sector is experiencing a surge in security-related requests in the form of due diligence questionnaires. This requires additional resources and internal stakeholder engagement to make sure that requests are managed in a timely manner and are in line with existing contractual agreements.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is your key message for your contribution at the Integrity Europe Conference 2024?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Digital transformation is quickly transforming the world of financial services, and therefore there is a need for more prioritization of cyber security.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, companies and their business partners including third party vendors are required to be more transparent on how they protect their data, their operational resilience and risk management practices. SIX is a leading global provider of financial information with a core expertise in reference and regulatory data, including corporate actions, ESG and Indices. Yaw is passionate about education, technology, innovation and environmental sustainability. Having worked in over five countries, he has more than 20 years of progressive global experience in Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, IT Governance, Compliance, and Information Privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His professional experience covers a wide range of industries including Banking\/Finance, Sports and Entertainment, Oil and Gas, Education, as well as Healthcare. He has been instrumental in conducting internal system reviews and privacy risk assessments for numerous companies, as well as conducting external cyber reviews of business partners and third-party suppliers. He has worked on projects to remediate cyber issues, while developing key security improvement plans and advising C-level executives on key strategy roadmaps. This experience has enabled him to develop a deep understanding of the IT landscape as it relates to cyber risk management, data protection, business needs and digital transformation.
