Mit dieser Nachricht teilt die Crowdfunding-Plattform Seedmatch offen und transparent mit, dass zum ersten Mal ein Startup, das sich \u00fcber Seedmatch finanziert hat, seinen Gesch\u00e4ftsbetrieb einstellen musste. Insgesamt wurden bisher 38 Finanzierungen \u00fcber Seedmatch durchgef\u00fchrt, wobei bisher 16 der \u00fcber diese Plattform finanzierten Startups eine Anschlussfinanzierung<\/a> \u00fcber Business Angels, Venture Capital Gesellschaften, \u00f6ffentliche Zusch\u00fcsse (oder einer Kombination aus diesen) bekommen haben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicht nur Renditen, auch Risiken gibt\u2019s\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Oktober 2012 f\u00fchrte betandsleep ein Crowdfunding bei Seedmatch durch<\/a> und hatte damals mit seinem Konzept, hochwertige Hotelzimmer auf einem alternativen Weg an Reisende zu vermitteln, 161 Investoren \u00fcberzeugt. Mit der Liquidation der GmbH verlieren diese nun das gesamte eingesetzte Kapital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wie bei den klassischen Formen der Startup-Finanzierung stehen auch beim Crowdfunding (resp. Crowdinvesting, siehe auch fr\u00fcherer Blogbeitrag<\/a>) f\u00fcr Startups die Renditechancen aus Investorensicht im Mittelpunkt. W\u00e4hrend aber klassische Startups in der Regel eher von professionellen Investoren finanziert werden und diese sich der hohen Risiken bewusst(er) sind, k\u00f6nnen beim Crowdfunding \u2013 resp. -investing auch unerfahrene Investoren Geld f\u00fcr eine gute Gesch\u00e4ftsidee einsetzen. Locken tut die Aussicht auf eine deutliche Vermehrung des eingesetzten Kapitals. Vernachl\u00e4ssigt wird hingegen oft, dass die hohen Renditeerwartungen als Kompensation f\u00fcr die ebenfalls deutlich \u00fcberdurchschnittlichen Risiken zu verstehen sind. Es liegt in der Natur der Sache, dass es bei Startups eher die Regel als die Ausnahme ist, dass diese ihren Gesch\u00e4ftsbetrieb aufgrund mangelnden Erfolgs wieder einstellen m\u00fcssen. Die Einstellung des Gesch\u00e4ftsbetriebs von betandsleep ist deshalb keineswegs eine Ausnahme, sondern geh\u00f6rt viel eher zur Welt der Finanzierung junger, innovativer Startup-Unternehmen dazu. Dieser Aspekt wird derzeit bei aller Euphorie um Crowdfunding und Crowdinvesting oftmals ausgeblendet und trifft gerade im Crowdfunding auch die wom\u00f6glich etwas zu optimistischen, unerfahrenen Investoren. Entsprechend sollte der Risikoaufkl\u00e4rung von Crowd-Investoren noch mehr Gewicht beigemessen werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crowdinvesting trotzdem unterst\u00fctzungw\u00fcrdige Idee<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nichtsdestotrotz ist die Idee, jungen Unternehmen in einer fr\u00fchen Phase (sogenannte \u201eSeed Phase\u201c) \u00fcber eine Crowdfunding-Plattform eine Finanzierung zu erm\u00f6glichen, positiv zu bewerten. Aus Risiko\u00fcberlegungen sind die Banken in der Schweiz oft sehr zur\u00fcckhaltend in der Kreditgew\u00e4hrung an Start-up-Unternehmen, wodurch sich die Kapitalbeschaffung f\u00fcr entsprechende junge Unternehmen oftmals als \u00e4usserst schwierig herausstellt. Durch Crowdinvesting bekommen spannende Ideen eine Chance, \u00fcberhaupt zu starten. Ob Crowd-Investoren f\u00fcr die hohen Risiken in Form einer ansehnlichen Rendite entsch\u00e4digt werden, wird sich in den kommenden Jahren zeigen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
