As part of the International Entrepreneurship Week, an online academic hackathon is expected to take place, in collaboration between 3 academic institutions from Israel and Switzerland- Tel-Hai Academic College, Ort Braude College of Engineering and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. At this unique event we address some burning issues to human society – Issues related to environmental protection, sustainability and the global climate crisis.
During the hackathon, students from different faculties, staff members and local entrepreneurs will work in multidisciplinary teams of 3-6 participants on challenges provided by our partner, Ziv Medical Center.
The hackathon will take place on Friday, November 19, 09:00-12:00 and on Friday, December 3, 07:30-13:00 (Swiss time). During these times each team will work together, and between these dates – each team will continue working on times more comfortable for them. Each team will be accompanied by a professional facilitator and could also consult with content experts who will be at their disposal.
Experiencing such an event will give you a unique opportunity to work in a unique innovation & cross-cultural setting with students of different fields, to go through an interesting and challenging experience and to take part in an international entrepreneurship competition.
Essentials:
Requirements: Commitment for 2 days and flexible coordination / work in the team between those days, no technical knowledge, English.
