>>venture>>: Switzerland’s Leading Start-up Competition

Ready to turn your innovative idea into reality? The annual start-up competition >>venture>> offers a unique platform for entrepreneurs to take their business to the next level. With over half a million Swiss francs in prize money, personalized mentoring, and access to a top-tier network, >>venture>> supports early-stage start-ups on their journey to success.

>>venture>> is Switzerland’s leading start-up competition and has been shaping the innovation landscape for over 25 years. Since its inception in 1997, >>venture>> has supported over 1’500 successful companies, which together have created more than 15’000 jobs. Every year, >>venture>> invites entrepreneurs and innovators to present their ideas in one of six key categories:

  • Finance & Insurance
  • Health & Nutrition
  • ICT
  • Industrials & Engineering
  • Retail & Consumer Services
  • Social & Environmental Impact

Your Journey with >>venture>>
The journey begins with access to workshops, top-notch mentoring, and exclusive networking opportunities between April and June 2025. The best teams in each category will receive personalized guidance from industry experts.

In May 2025, pitch training sessions with investors and McKinsey & Company experts will help finalists present their ideas professionally and convincingly. The top 60 teams will then have the chance to pitch their ideas to industry-specific juries. The best three teams in each category will secure a place in the final round.

The highlight of the competition takes place on June 23, 2025: the Final Pitch and Award Ceremony. Winners in each category will receive prize money of CHF 50’000, CHF 20’000, or CHF 10’000. The six first-place winners will compete in the grand finale for an additional CHF 100’000.
