Newcomers @ Swiss Start-up Days

Swiss Start-up Days is one of the most important start-up events in Switzerland. Every year, founders, investors, corporates, and innovation enthusiasts come together to exchange ideas, build new connections, and actively shape the future of the start-up ecosystem. A special highlight of the event is Newcomers, a format specifically designed for early-stage start-ups.

Newcomers @ Swiss Start-up Days

Newcomers is a pitch format within Swiss Start-up Days that aims to spotlight promising start-ups and provide them with a national stage. The focus is on innovative, technology-driven business models in the pre-seed or seed phase that address a clear problem with a compelling solution. Teams present their ideas to a high-profile audience of investors, experts, and fellow founders. An experienced jury of investors and start-up leaders complements the pitches with well-founded, hands-on feedback and valuable insights to support the further development of the business models.

As a selected Newcomer at #SUD26, start-ups gain new opportunities for maximum visibility and direct access to the Swiss start-up ecosystem. Pitch and poster formats, exclusive networking sessions, and targeted one-on-one meetings create ideal conditions for building lasting relationships and valuable partnerships. The experience is rounded off with full-day event access, including guest tickets, inspiring input from over 40 sessions, and entry into the alumni community. Particularly successful start-ups can also look forward to additional highlights such as a final pitch on the main stage, a podcast feature, and exclusive VIP experiences.
