With Christmas just around the corner, many of us are thinking about the perfect presents for their loved ones. You find that alcohol is a boring no-go as a gift? You are right! But what if it is provided by an innovative Smart-up startup and brings the taste of the Amazon directly under your Christmas tree?
Vinoa is the company name of one of the newest members of our Smart-up network. The three young founders Boris, Keean and Nikola are as international as their business idea. They support small and medium sized distilleries and wineries from around the world in expanding and reaching different markets. Their services span from importation to international distribution and brand building for spirits and wines.
When it comes to good wines and spirits, production is a very regional affair and some of the finest treasures are made by small hidden champions. The core competence of these local producers lies in the manufacture of excellent beverages, but not so much in their excellent marketing. In fact, many small and medium producers face difficulties in expanding and reaching different markets. What a pity, Boris and his two fellows found and decided to set up their business for helping to bring good drinks to customers around the globe.
Only a few months after its establishment, Vinoa can already look back on a great success: The three young entrepreneurs have managed to successfully launch their first product on the Swiss market – Gosscake!
What is Gosscake? As the marketing experts of Vinoa would put it: Gosscake is a secret recipe born in Bolivia that results in a mysterious and enveloping combination of carefully selected, macerated and distilled natural ingredients. Among its Amazonian ingredients we can find the protagonist who is the Tonka Bean, pompon vanilla, cinnamon, organic coffee grown in the highlands, wild cocoa, aromatic citrus and many more.
The appealing texts, pictures and videos on the website not only confirm that Boris, Keean and Nikola are amazing in what they do, but also underpin the driving force of Vinoa’s three founders: «We love and believe in our products.»
The Smart-up team – of course only for professional purposes – has tasted Gosscake and shares Vinoa’s love for its first product. This first taste test makes us want more and we are already looking forward to try the next hidden champion in Vinoa’s product selection.
