Since its inception in 1997, &gt;&gt;venture&gt;&gt; has supported over 1\u2019500 successful companies, which together have created more than 15\u2019000 jobs. Every year, &gt;&gt;venture&gt;&gt; invites entrepreneurs and innovators to present their ideas in one of six key categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Finance &amp; Insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health &amp; Nutrition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ICT<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Industrials &amp; Engineering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Retail &amp; Consumer Services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social &amp; Environmental Impact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your Journey with &gt;&gt;venture&gt;&gt;<\/strong><br>The journey begins with access to workshops, top-notch mentoring, and exclusive networking opportunities between <strong>April and June 2025<\/strong>. The best teams in each category will receive personalized guidance from industry experts.<br><br>In <strong>May 2025<\/strong>, pitch training sessions with investors and McKinsey &amp; Company experts will help finalists present their ideas professionally and convincingly. The top 60 teams will then have the chance to pitch their ideas to industry-specific juries. The best three teams in each category will secure a place in the final round.<br><br>The highlight of the competition takes place on <strong>June 23, 2025<\/strong>: the Final Pitch and Award Ceremony. Winners in each category will receive prize money of CHF 50&#8217;000, CHF 20&#8217;000, or CHF 10&#8217;000. The six first-place winners will compete in the grand finale for an additional CHF 100&#8217;000.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"blue-box\">\n\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n\t\t\t<p><strong>Entry Requirements: Do You Have What It Takes?<\/strong><br \/>\nTo participate in &gt;&gt;venture&gt;&gt;, the following criteria must be met:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Innovative Idea:<\/strong> Your idea must be innovative and forward-thinking.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Swiss Residency:<\/strong> At least one team member must be a Swiss resident and over 18 years old. Start-ups from abroad can participate if their headquarters are in Switzerland or they plan to relocate or open a branch here.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Early-Stage Status:<\/strong> Start-ups must have been registered in the Commercial Registry no earlier than January 1, 2023. Research-intensive start-ups registered as early as January 1, 2021 may qualify if they meet at least two of the following criteria:<br \/>\no Patents<br \/>\no Research grants<br \/>\no Affiliation with a university or research consortium<br \/>\no Peer-reviewed publications<\/li>\n<li><strong>Start-up Plan:<\/strong> Submit a structured start-up document (10\u201320 pages) in English as a PDF.
