This project explores the tradition and culture of Chinese culinary arts through the lens of Cantonese dumplings. Dim sum, which translates to «touch your heart,» unites Chinese people on weekends, bringing them together in close-knit circles.
This project features two laporellos:
one detailing the history and cultural significance of dim sum,
and another offering recipes for readers to recreate at home. Through watercolored illustrations, the project introduces readers to the rich and inviting world of Cantonese cuisine.
