Founder of Bromotion Studios

Bromotion Studios is a start-up video production focusing primarily on TV commercials, social media commercials, short films, aerial photography, private clientele videos, and projects used as reference.

The start-up was founded in May 2013 after Basil Schneeberger had discovered his passion for film. The clientele has varied from private doctors, online webshops, software companies, music artists, chemical industry, construction industry, private short films, clothing brands, to small independent video projects for reference. The demand for these products come from a niche where customers do not want to invest high amounts of money for a video productions, but rather find low budget solution and get the best quality out of it.

Tell us about yourself!

Which historical personage would you have liked to meet?

One historical personage I would have loved to meet is Neil Armstrong. I would question him how he gained courage and motivation to sit in a Saturn V that was about to take him to the moon. As well as different types of mindsets he used to get along in his career as astronaut.

How do you deal with criticism?

 I engage an attitude of curiosity while receiving critic; I want to attain a skill that allows me to transform any kind of critic into a positive element, giving me benefit for the future.

Do you know exactly what your career should look like?

After the graduation of my bachelors’ degree at HSLU, I see myself applying at USC Los Angeles film school, in order to pursue a career as a director in the film industry.

What character traits do you appreciate most?

It is important for me that the people I encounter show a minimum of sympathy allowing to create a comfortable environment to collaborate, no matter what situation you are in. In other words show each other and equal degree of eye level.

Do you work on weekends?

My weekends are most definitely occupied with working on my hobbies and my start up. These include producing music in a professional music studio, flying single engine pistons aircrafts, and working on video projects for Bromotion Studios.

Could you imagine selling your start-up at some point in the future?

For now, I do not see myself selling the Company in the near future. Despite the fact I intend to move the United States, I would like to take the Company with me and continue building it up.

What would your friends tell us about Basil?

So far, my nearest friends admire the passion I put into my hobbies which I dream of making a real job out of. They see my ignorance towards the fact that I am entering an industry that is hard to deal with but respect my motivation and belief in trying as hard as possible.
