Last night, our MSc in International Financial Management students and lecturers from the Lucerne School of Business (HSLU) came together for a wonderful social evening — complete with a classic Swiss cheese fondue in a cozy wooden fondue hut.
For one evening, we set aside deadlines, exams, master’s thesis, and study stress. Instead, we enjoyed great conversations, plenty of laughter, a warm and relaxed atmosphere, and a much-needed break from the intensity of the semester. Moments like these remind us how important community and connection are in a demanding programme like the MSc IFM.
Our traditional fondue night was a real success: we savoured the iconic Swiss dish, exchanged ideas, and strengthened friendships that will last well beyond our studies. The evening not only brought us together but also recharged our energy for the final weeks of the semester.
Events like this remind us that the IFM programme is not only about finance, analytics, and academic excellence — it’s also about people, community, and the shared journey that shapes our time at HSLU.
