In November 2018, the Institute for Management Accountants (IMA) awarded the CMA Scholarship to Marco Agner and Marcel Greimel, two students of the MSc in International Financial Management. With this scholarship, IMA supports our two students in completing the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification in order to gain a competitive edge and kick start their careers.
At the beginning of November, Jeffrey C. Thomson, President and CEO IMA, handed officially over the CMA Scholarships to our graduates Marco Agner and Marcel Greimel, at the annual IMA Swiss Chapter Event in Zurich. With the grant of the CMA Scholarship, these two students can now complete the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification completely free of charge and thus lay another cornerstone for their career after the MSc in International Financial Management (MSc IFM) – Our warmest congratulations!
The CMA certification is offered by IMA and covers topics relating to financial reporting, planning, management control and financial decision-making. IMA is the worldwide association of accountants and financial professionals in business and consist of a network of more than 110’000 members represented in 140 countries. The association is committed to supporting the education of future accounting and finance professionals working in business.
