Dear Reader
Is my favorite bank going belly-up? Has the bookkeeper of my best enterprise just been arrested? Don’t tell me on a Friday – I can’t take it in. According to scientists Friday is the perfect day for a company to announce bad news, because many market players react slowly on a Friday. Companies publish only 6 percent of their results on a Friday, but when they report bad news, they are twice as likely to sneak them in on a Friday. But we can obey a new reaction to this malpractise: Friday is positively the worst time for anyone to issue bad news because it’s precisely when suspicious journalists are actively looking out for it!
Have a nice Tuesday!
